Onguene Puts Up Dominant Display In Salzburg’s Win Against Rapid Wien

Cameroon sweeper and center – half Jerome Onguene put up a majestic performance as his team defeated Rapid Wien two – nil in the Austrian Bundesliga, on match day 8 of the championship.

The game was Onguene’s first official game of the season after being left out of the squad on numerous occasions due to administrative issues.

Onguene, 23, sat out the team’s mid – week champions league tie against Seville as they separated on a one – all parity.

Onguene made his way to the field at the 21st minute, replacing center – half Oumar Solet who wabbled – off injured.

The Cameroon international then played through the remainder of the game and aided his side to victory with goals from golden – boy candidate – Karim Adeyemi who converted from the spot (79), and Brenden Aaronson  90th minute strike that finished matters.

Onguene had an impressive rating of 6.55, one of his team’s best in the encounter. The lad is slowly and surely getting the Baton of command his way.
