33rd AFCON Mascot, Anthem Unveiled In Yaounde

Exactly 30 days to the blasting of kick-off whitsle for the tournament, the local organizing committee continues with its tireless efforts to see a successful competion come January 2022.

Duty called for COCAN President, Prof. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi to the esplanade of the Multi-purpose sports complex for the official presentation of the AFCON Mascot and theme song, today December 9.

In semi cultural event spiced with color and music, the stand out anthem tittled “Passionate Football” was revealed to the crowd at Wada-Yaounde.

The five minute piece concieved by the Africa Smile collective led by Roland Ntsa graced the event with beautiful performances from the National Institute of Youths and Sports and orchestra of Universities of Yaounde One and Two.

MOLA, (Mascot) literally translated as brotherhood posed with Minister Narcisis Mouelle alongside six regional governors before joining the feast at the multi-purpose sports complex.

The symbol of luck after circulating some parts of Yaounde is expected in Ebolowa, the South Regional capital tomorrow December 10 before moving to other regions.

The MOLA nationwide tour will run from till December 22 2021.
