Cameroon – Comoros : Covid19 Hits Team Comoros Hard

As per OnzeMondial, 12 players of team Comoros have tested Covid19 positive, including their two – available goal keepers (Moyadh Ousseini and Ali Ahamada) left in their ranks after first choice keeper Ben Boina was injured against Morocco.

Defenders; Kassim Abdallah and Alexis Souahy, midfielders; Nakibou Aboubakari and Yacine Bourhane, as well as striker Mohamed M’Changama are also affected, plus, coach Amir Abdou.

All these predicaments – are occuring 48 hours before the debutants face Cameroon in the round of 16.

This is a bad speed bump in the country’s AFCON fairy tale.

Comoros find themselves still in Cameroon, due to goals from Ben El Fardou and two others from Ahmed Mogni – which gifted them a first-ever win in the Africa Cup of Nations – coupled, with a famous round of 16 spot, as one of four best losers.

Team Cameroon on the other hand are reportedly in one piece before Monday’s showdown.
