Cameroon’s Rugby Selections Protest At Sports Ministry

The Women’s and Men’s National Rugby 7s teams of Cameroon are currently at the Ministry of Sports, doing a peaceful protest.

Cameroon is about to miss out from 3 qualifying competitions: Rugby World Cup, AFCON and Commonwealth Games.

The delegation has reportedly not obtained plane tickets for departure so far, despite the dates lurking.

These qualifications are set to take place from March 12 to 13, 2022 in Bujumbura (Burundi).

After the lifting of suspension in 2020, Cameroon still risk another suspension if they miss out in the following competitions.
