Abdoulaye Yahaya Assist Against Bandirmaspor Despite Tuzla’s 4-1 Defeat

In game day 21 of the TFF 1st League, Bandırmaspor faced Abdoulaye Yahaya’s Tuzlaspor at home. Bandırmaspor brushed aside Tuzlaspor via a 4-1 margin but Cameroon Youth international Yahaya was a silverlining in his team’s performance as he provided an assist.

Yahaya started and lasted 80 minutes in the game but it wasn’t meant to be for the former Apejes men, playing away to a mid-table placed Bandirmaspor.

The hosts when stunned when the away side opened scores at the 2nd minute when Abdoulaye Yahaya served on the plate for teammate Mayingila N’Zuzi Mata. However, goals from: Fatih Kurucuk (13), Sedat Şahintürk (69) and Manos’ brace at the 71st and 89 minutes turned the complexion of the game in favor of Beyçimento Bandırmaspor.

Yahaya is up to two goals and five assists in 18 league games this season, a return which is fair for a 21 year old playing for his first season in Turkey.

Tuzla are placed 13th in the 19-team championship which is at this point way off promotion slots, but staying up is a priority. Up next for Yahaya and co is a home game to 9th placed Sakaryaspor on Saturday, January 28.
