Martin Hongla Completes Real Valladolid Loan Deal

Indomitable Lions midfielder Martin Hongla has switched to Real Valladolid on loan with an option to buy from parent club Hellas Verona.

Real Valladolid looks to strengthen its midfield with the 24-year-old Cameroonian defensive midfielder who leaves Verona in the Italian Serie A, seeking for game time.

Both clubs came to an agreement on Monday evening with the deal completed this Tuesday.

Martin Hongla started off his career abroad with Granada in 2016 and the lack of game time saw him switch to Barça B where he had several loan spells.

He has played in two leagues in the past two seasons with stints at Antwerp and Verona, where he has played only nine times this season totalling 523 minutes on the pitch.
