Yacine Idriss Diallo Re-Elected as President of the Ivorian Football Federation for 2026–2030 Mandate
Yacine Idriss Diallo secured a second consecutive term as President of the Ivorian Football Federation, known as the FIF, following the elective assembly held at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.
The incumbent administrative head was re-elected for a four-year mandate spanning from 2026 through 2030 after running without opposition in the final voting stage.
In the official tally of the assembly, Diallo gathered 123 out of 149 total weighted votes, representing roughly 82.5 percent of the overall votes cast by representatives of the local clubs and interest groups.
The electoral process recorded ten blank ballots and five invalid votes among the total submissions.
His successful bid for re-election builds upon the momentum of his first term, which began in April 2022.
That period saw significant milestones for Ivorian football, most notably the national team winning the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil, alongside qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.
Under the campaign project titled “Transformer pour durer” (Transforming to Last), Diallo outlined a strategic vision focused on long-term institutional stability.
Key priorities for his second term include strengthening the professional club ecosystem, enhancing domestic youth academies, expanding regional talent scouting, developing women’s football leagues, and modernizing federation infrastructure across the country.
